Rhonéa is a collective of 400 families of "Artisans Winegrowers" spread over 2,900ha in the most beautiful terroirs of the Rhone Valley for 3 to 4 generations. From Beaumes de Venise to Rasteau, from Vacqueyras to Visan, from Gigondas to Ventoux… our wines tell our story and show our passion.
It was just a handful of passionate and visionary families who laid the first stones of the village wineries back in the 1920s.
Their aim? To create a shared asset that put everyone's talents to use in order to provide the best conditions for producing, ageing and selling wines.
Year after year, these social objectives have grown in scope and taken on new meaning.
Today, nearly 400 families of winegrowers on small vineyards (10ha on average) make up an innovative "new generation" cooperative model named "Rhonéa".
United by a common passion but with their own unique stories, they pass on their know-how from generation to generation. They have perfect knowledge of their terroirs, their plots and their grape varieties, to reveal the very best of them. Vintage after vintage, they are committed to ethical and sustainable winegrowing.
A business model that is perfectly suited to today's economic, social and environmental challenges, our cooperative places women and men at the heart of its governance and development goals. With a team of 130 employees, experts in their field from the vine to marketing & sales, they share the same values: solidarity, mutual aid, respect for the environnement and the ability to innovate. Our goal: producing quality wines that achieve the best balance between a fair price for the consumer and fair returns for the producer.
While we are proud of our heritage, we are resolutely in tune with our times and looking to the future. Making wine accessible without compromising on quality and innovating in line with our sustainability commitments are among our main missions. Alongside our Crus & Villages, our Creations reflect our agility in offering cuvées that are outside the box!
Whatever your taste, style or budget, our 2,900-hectare wine-growing area allows us to produce wines that will meet your expectations, from the most iconic to the most accessible.
