Presentation

Set on hillsides in the heart of the Comtat Venaissin, the village of Valréas developed around an ancient Benedictine abbey dating back to the 12th century.

The vintage

2025 is a precocious and contrasting vintage: after an intense dry spell followed by timely rainfall, careful monitoring and meticulous sorting ensured excellent quality. The 2025 wines stand out for their balance, precision, and promising aromatic expression.

Terroir

The terroir of Valréas consists of clay-limestone hillsides and plateaus or stony red clay, exposed to regional winds. These soils offer Grenache and Syrah a beautiful aromatic expression, combining freshness, fruit, and spices.

Winemaking

Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks with total destemming. The maceration lasts 15 days.

Grape variety

  • Grenache noir
  • Syrah
