Rhonéa Vignobles — What if your savings could save the vineyard?

At the heart of the Rhône Valley, the vineyard is far more than a landscape.

It is a living heritage, shaped by generations of winegrowers — families who carry the identity of a territory and the balance of an entire local economy.

Yet every year, hectares disappear, threatened by land fragmentation, abandonment, and speculation. In response, Rhonéa Vignobles offers a concrete solution: investing together to preserve the winegrowing heritage, support winegrowers, and secure a future. Discover how you can act today.

A territorial challenge

A heritage at risk:
the need to act

Today, this balance is under threat.

  • More and more winegrowers are reaching retirement age and struggle to pass on their estates.
  • Young winegrowers find it increasingly difficult to access land, due to speculation and rising land costs.
  • Without a structured solution, the risk is real: land fragmentation, loss of terroir coherence, and the gradual disappearance of the local winegrowing fabric and its iconic landscapes.

To address this challenge, Rhonéa created Rhonéa Vignobles, a Collective Interest Cooperative (SCIC) with ESUS certification, whose mission is to acquire, restructure and transfer vineyard plots and entrust them to committed winegrowers under long-term leases.

A model already proven

Since its inception, Rhonéa Vignobles has demonstrated the relevance of its approach. These actions have already made it possible to:

  • Maintain active estates, preventing land abandonment.
  • Replant and restructure emblematic plots that had sometimes been left fallow for years.
  • Preserve coherent vineyard landscapes, essential to the identity of the Rhône Valley.
  • Support winegrowers over time, ensuring successful succession.

Rhonéa Vignobles is not an idea, nor a promise — it is an operational tool, already active in the field.

How it works

How does it work?
A simple and concrete model

1
Acquisition

Rhonéa Vignobles acquires vineyard land (abandoned or fragmented plots).

2
Restructuring

Where needed, plots are restored (uprooting, replanting, trellising, irrigation).

3
Transfer

The vineyards are made available to winegrowers under long-term lease agreements.

This model secures land within a long-term heritage logic, facilitates the installation or transfer of estates, maintains vineyard production rooted in the territory, and ensures coherence of terroirs and practices.

Every hectare acquired becomes a collective asset in service of the vineyard.

Looking ahead

A new phase:
accelerating development

The current context opens a new critical window. Transfer opportunities are multiplying, particularly on structuring and emblematic terroirs — Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes-de-Venise…

These plots represent a major challenge: either these lands are taken over with continuity and value in mind, or they gradually fall outside a coherent winegrowing model.

Rhonéa Vignobles has the capacity to act today. Every new subscription makes it possible to:

  • Secure new plots before it is too late.
  • Support more winegrowers in their installation or succession.
  • Consolidate coherent land clusters to preserve terroir quality and identity.

Year after year, Rhonéa Vignobles is building a collective, structured and lasting winegrowing heritage.

In conclusion

Rhonéa Vignobles is a shared conviction

The vineyard does not thrive through production alone — it is a collective story, a living heritage, a local economy that deserves to be preserved. It is built over time, through transmission, structure, and the ability to protect what gives it its value.

With Rhonéa Vignobles, everyone can act at their own scale — without being a winegrower, without any specialist knowledge — simply with the desire to contribute to this future.

Joining the cooperative means choosing a meaningful investment, grounded in reality, in service of the territory and those who bring it to life.
