Regional anchorage: partnership between OnAP & Rhonéa

The national Orchestra Avignon-Provence & Rhonéa have signed a partnership for the 2022-2023 season.
Committed to sustainable development, these two structures located in the department of Vaucluse, are deeply rooted into their territory and attached to the propomotion of its attractiveness.
Through this partnership, they aim to support the local influence of their activities and affirm their strong territorial roots.
The "Orchestre national Avignon-Provence": excellence & creativity
The "Orchestre national Avignon-Provence" (OnAP) is a musical group calle "Mozart", founded at the end of the 18th century. It is one of the oldest orchestras still active in France.
In close partnership with the "Opéra Grand Avignon", with which it accompanies all the lyric season, it has been structuring French musical life for many years. OnAP carries out public service missions, namely the creation, dissemination and accompaniment of audiences in the discovery of quality classical and contemporary musical programs.
The Orchestre national Avignon-Provence contributes to a regional territory whose cultural heritage and musical history, both past and present, are among the richest.
Rhonéa, committed Artisans Winegrowers in the Rhone Valley
Rhonéa tells the story of women and men gathered in a collective group of 400 artisans winegrowers among the historical Wineries of Beaumes-de-Venise, Rasteau, Visan & Vacqueyras.
Since 1925, they have put in common their savoir-faire to propose a unique cooperative model, in which Men & Nature are strongly linked.
Rhonéa manages a vineyard of 2.900ha in the Vaucluse department, among which 2.100ha are "Crus" & Villages. It promotes a viticulture on a human-scale (10ha on average), local and committed towards the preservation of its environment.
It is founding member of "Sustainable Winegrowing", 1st label in sustainable development for the wine industry.
A partnership that highlights the talents of our region
Among the modalities of the partnership, the Orchestra relies on the network of private customers of Rhonéa to promote its concerts while a "Cuvée de l'Orchestre" specially elaborated by Rhonéa, is made available to OnAP but also offered for sale in the 4 shops of Rhonéa.
On this occasion, Alexis Labat, Director of the Orchestra and Claude Chabran, President of the Rhonéa Group, said: "Our two structures share common values: know-how, requirement, creation and innovation. We also have the same attachment to our territory of Vaucluse and work, each at our own level, to develop its attractiveness. This partnership was seen as an obvious way to help us promote our respective talents."
Alexis Labat, Director of the Orchestre national Avignon Provence & Claude Chabran, President of the Rhonéa Group have officially launched the Cuvée de l'Orchestre.
